Strategic Development & Implementation:
- Formulate and implement all-encompassing retail marketing strategies to boost brand presence, market penetration, and revenue growth through platforms such as the company website, Amazon, and specialty retail outlets.
- Identify significant market opportunities and devise strategies to leverage them, including product introductions, promotional initiatives, and seasonal marketing campaigns.
- Analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and consumer insights to guide strategic planning.
- Develop a sales enablement marketing framework in collaboration with the sales leadership to enhance customer experiences and drive sales effectiveness.
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including agency collaboration, media planning, and search engine optimization.
- Manage email and traditional marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and retention.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, social media content strategies, and ambassador programs.
- Coordinate sponsorships and chef collaborations to strengthen brand authority and outreach.
- Participate in trade exhibitions to showcase products, drive sales, and cultivate industry relationships.
- Utilize analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate consumer feedback into product innovation and marketing approaches.
- Engage closely with sales, product development, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and product availability.
Brand Oversight:
- Supervise the creation and execution of brand messaging and positioning across all retail platforms.
- Ensure consistent brand representation that aligns with the company’s overarching goals and values.
- Collaborate with product development teams to synchronize marketing strategies with product offerings.
Financial Management:
- Develop and oversee the retail marketing budget, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and financial targets.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize performance and budget efficiency.
- Work with the finance department to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of marketing expenditures and return on investment.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred.
- Experience in grocery, consumer packaged goods, or related food industries.
- Familiarity with trade and shopper marketing methodologies.
- Over 10 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity within the food sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective retail marketing strategies.
- Proven experience managing online sales, Amazon operations, and other retail platforms.
- Expertise in media planning, buying, and search engine optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail dynamics, consumer behavior, and food industry trends.
