Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at First Impression Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and explain treatment plans to ensure a comfortable and informed experience.
  • Assist dentists and dental hygienists during procedures and examinations, providing suction and ensuring chair-side accessibility.
  • Evaluate and document vital signs and medical history, take x-rays, and apply topical anesthetics as needed.
  • Answer patient questions, schedule appointments, and provide postoperative instructions on infection control.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized equipment, dental instruments, and supplies.
Qualifications:
  • Current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
  • 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills.
