Sage Home Loans Corporation is seeking an experienced finance leader to lead our financial planning and analysis function. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this role will be a key member of our finance team, highly visible to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead long-range planning and budgeting process for the company
  • Develop monthly forecasts and management reporting
  • Be a key member of our finance team that makes strategic recommendations to senior leadership around business strategy
  • Analyze trends and business performance on a daily basis
  • Assist with other projects as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience
  • 2+ years of Finance or FP&A experience (particularly forecasting, budgeting & reporting)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment, never sacrificing accuracy for speed
  • Ability to communicate and work across multiple functions and teams
  • Drive: The ideal candidate is proactive, has a positive attitude, is well-organized, and is adept at managing competing deadlines and priorities
  • Ownership: The business will go as far as you take us. We don't hire employees, we hire owners. You will have the ability to have a massive impact on a growing business, and as such should treat it like your own
  • Strong sense of self-awareness and a steady commitment to get better every day
  • Experience in, and understanding of a mortgage company is a plus
