As an Employment Litigation Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in a wide range of employment-related legal matters. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex litigation involving federal and state laws governing workplace discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and other employment issues.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients on a variety of employment law matters.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in federal and state courts.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Engage in discovery proceedings, including depositions and interrogatories.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 3+ years of experience in employment litigation.
- Strong understanding of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, the New York City Human Rights Law, and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
