Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Biller II to join our team at Infojini. As a Medical Biller II, you will provide clerical support and medical billing services to our clinic, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims and payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview clients to determine insurance status and obtain necessary authorizations
  • Enter financial information into electronic health records (EHR) and verify deductible and fee scale eligibility
  • Create and submit claims, collect and process payments, and reconcile daily collection reports
  • Provide clerical support, including registering new clients, assisting with appointments, and scanning identification cards and insurance cards
  • Communicate with Health Department staff to refer or schedule clients
  • Participate in rotating assignment for clerical coverage in community clinics
Requirements
  • Two years of experience reviewing, verifying, recording, adjusting, and balancing financial transactions
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of multiple software, including electronic health records and medical coding
  • Experience with medical coding and insurance authorization procedures
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a medical office
  • Experience with electronic health records
  • Experience working with health insurance providers, including Medical Assistance
