Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our physicians and clinical staff. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient exams, procedures, and administrative tasks, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with exams and procedures, including preparing patients for exams and procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized exam room.
  • Take and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Prepare and administer medications, as directed by the physician.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalyses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling patient correspondence.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
