HR Coordinator Job Summary

The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day HR processes, providing excellent service to our customers, and collaborating with HR team members on projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate human resources processes to ensure the HR office functions effectively and efficiently.
  • Administer HR's SharePoint site and manage HR documents.
  • Maintain accurate HR files and systems, ensuring overall data integrity.
  • Provide support for leave of absence and workers compensation, including communication, documentation, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Manage personnel files and records, including electronic files, I9 documentation, employee ID system, and employee eyewear benefit.
  • Support payroll with time and attendance review, employee status changes, and termination processes.
  • Provide executive support to the President of Walman.
  • Perform various other HR projects.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree and at least three (3) years HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization and diverse population.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams, and HRIS data entry/reporting.
  • Must be proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to deliver exceptional service in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to process sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
