  • Provide mentorship and coaching to a team of technicians; evaluate performance quality and develop training plans for team members to ensure motivation and productivity.
  • Recommend actions regarding promotions, transfers, hiring, or termination of staff members.
  • Coordinate work schedules for the local team and manage larger project schedules in collaboration with other managers.
  • Utilize industry expertise to present technical and practical solutions to both internal and external clients; prepare and assess quotes, conduct job site evaluations, and review test reports while ensuring quality audits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring all communications reflect a high standard of customer service.
  • Review job performance to ensure alignment with profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with management to foster continuous improvement initiatives within the business.
  • Prepare various reports as assigned.
  • Work with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to establish effective safety records and practices to mitigate company risks.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be required, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Adhere strictly to all regulatory laws and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA.
  • Comprehensive understanding of heavy industrial, utility, large commercial, and renewable energy sectors, with the ability to troubleshoot complex business challenges.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to electrical safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
  • Customer-focused approach with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Valid driver's license required for positions involving company vehicles.
