Patient Care Coordinator

About the RoleThis customer-facing position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as you'll interact with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal departments to provide education, answer questions, and resolve issues. Your primary focus will be on providing a seamless onboarding experience for new infusion patients, ensuring a smooth transition to our specialty pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve patient concerns and issues
- Process new referrals and admissions, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Offer education and guidance on insurance, healthcare, and treatment options
- Identify and address potential problems, escalating issues as needed
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service and/or a healthcare environment
- Minimum two years of experience with healthcare insurance coverage and benefits
- Minimum one year of experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
