Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team at The Bergaila Companies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in safety management. You will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses, investigating safety incidents, and developing and implementing emergency response plans. Your expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) and regulatory compliance will be essential in maintaining our high standards of safety and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Investigate safety incidents and perform root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes and implement corrective actions
• Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure a swift and effective response to safety incidents
• Demonstrate comprehensive hands-on experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our operations
Requirements
• 4-6 years of industry experience with a background in safety management
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and regulatory compliance, particularly OSHA regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• High School diploma or GED required, with a preference for a formal education in a related field
