This role is integral to our Utilities clientele. You will join a skilled, cross-functional team of enthusiastic Technical Consultants dedicated to delivering solutions that empower our clients to effect positive change in communities globally. You will be part of a project team that implements essential technologies to enhance the quality, reliability, and accessibility of data and geospatial capabilities.
The Professional Services division serves as the consulting and implementation branch of Esri. We explore new markets, push technological boundaries, and ultimately provide transformative solutions to high-profile clients around the world. Our Professional Services team consists of nearly 1,000 skilled business and technical professionals who work diligently to ensure our users achieve success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients and partners to identify, design, and validate critical GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
- Offer platform configuration services, guidance, and best practices to clients.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively to execute project tasks, deliver services, and implement solutions.
- Enhance expertise across a wide range of ArcGIS software components and business contexts.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, with comparable responsibilities.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and/or managing enterprise GIS solutions/systems utilizing the ArcGIS platform (desktop, server, and online).
- Proficient in ArcGIS Platform Configuration.
- Advanced programming and scripting skills in Python and Arcade.
- Familiarity with contemporary technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented architecture and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge in modeling and managing logical and topological network data.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related STEM field.
- Experience configuring and implementing the Utility Network for Utility clients.
- Understanding of ArcGIS applications in electric/gas facility management (AM/FM), including right-of-way corridor planning, engineering, design, construction, inspection, network analysis, integration with other systems, and market analysis.
- Experience integrating ArcGIS with work management, network analysis, OMS, customer information, and document management systems.
- Practical experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML5.
- Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related STEM field.
