Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in Texas
- BCLS certification
- ACLS certification (completed within 6 months of hire date)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science (preferred)
- Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing
- 2 years of Medical Nursing or Orthopedic Nursing experience (preferred)
- Medical Surgical ANCC Certification or ANCC Orthopedic Nurse Certification (preferred)
