Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the sales team in effective closing strategies through training and active involvement, while overseeing the profitability of your teams.
  • Oversee all showroom operations and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Ensure exceptional Customer Satisfaction scores and analyze metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Recruit, inspire, and evaluate the performance of New and Used team members, Internet Sales, Finance Managers, and Service Drive Sales personnel.
  • Conduct regular sales training sessions for Sales and Product Specialists.
  • Support both new and seasoned sales representatives in best practices for performance improvement.
  • Guarantee thorough follow-up with all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and managing a CRM system.
  • Establish and monitor delivery procedures to ensure effective execution.
  • Ensure that delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the initial service appointment.
  • Meet and exceed dealership and OEM sales forecasts, gross profits, and key expense objectives on a monthly and annual basis.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of experience as a General Sales Manager, overseeing the complete variable operations of a successful dealership.
  • A proven track record in building and training a sales team, achieving strong CSI scores, and generating above-average gross and net departmental profits.
  • A solid background in driving showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM strategies, direct mail, and other traditional marketing methods.
  • Extensive experience in leading a Business Development Center (BDC).
  • Some familiarity with Used Vehicle procurement, merchandising, and marketing.
  • Expertise in supervising desk managers' daily activities and enhancing F/I income through mentorship and training.
