Phlebotomist Team Lead

Vitalant is seeking a dedicated professional to lead our phlebotomy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the donor care team in creating comfortable and convenient blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers.
  • Conduct blood drives around town in one of our buses or interact with donors at one of our local donation centers.
  • Help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.
  • Support staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and provide coaching when needed.
  • Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
  • Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during the phlebotomy process.
  • Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to complete and pass CDL license program
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Successful completion of supervisory training program within six months
  • Two years phlebotomy experience preferred
