The Opportunity:

We are in search of a Mechanical/Plumbing Specialist capable of offering regional technical assistance for an upcoming project in the Middle East. This role is dependent on the successful award of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing facility assessments in accordance with UFC standards.
  • Conducting briefings for base commanders and relevant stakeholders to outline the scope of work, identify deficiencies, and propose solutions to address life, health, and safety (LHS) hazards.
  • Generating personnel, inspection, and evaluation reports for governmental review.
  • Evaluating plans for military construction projects, facility upgrades, rehabilitation initiatives, or self-help projects to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Although this contract does not include design responsibilities, the Specialist will act as a subject matter expert to review and inspect buildings and facilities to guarantee code compliance for ongoing or completed construction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employment is project-based and will occur on US Military Bases within the designated region.
  • Must possess training in mechanical engineering and plumbing, with a minimum of two years of experience demonstrating proficiency in applying UFC standards.
  • Must be recognized as a qualified individual in their respective discipline.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic is advantageous.
