Job Summary:
The Faculty Physician plays a vital role in our organization, providing quality medical care to patients in a clinical setting. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a professional manner
  • Participate in the teaching and training program to develop the next generation of healthcare professionals
  • Communicate effectively with administrators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate practice operations
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure efficient services to patients
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the ethical code of conduct of their professional organization
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as requested to stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare trends and practices
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:
  • Licensed M.D. or D.O. Board eligible
  • High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal, necessary to effectively communicate with people inside and outside the organization
  • Excellent analytical ability necessary to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Clinical knowledge to meet the medical requirements relating to various procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patients, personnel, and financial data

Working Conditions:
  • Hours and days to be determined by the business need of the department
  • Perform a minimum of 26 weeks per year of inpatient rounding/consult service, 7 days on and 7 days off, 12 hour shifts per day
