Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring that all post orders are followed and that required reports are filed.
  • Coach and discipline personnel as needed, seeking advice from management as required.
  • Train and develop security personnel, reviewing post orders and assignments with subordinates.
  • Assist with payroll and personnel administration, ensuring accurate and timely submission of information.
  • Conduct regular inspections of posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
  • Meet with client representatives to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
  • Perform supervisory duties, including interviewing, orienting, and training employees, planning and directing work, coaching and appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems, and making hiring and termination recommendations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
  • Knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
  • Understanding of security and safety devices and controls.
  • Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions.
  • Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in challenging situations.
  • Courteous telephone manner.
  • Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service and results orientation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

This position requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. The demands of the job include maintaining composure in challenging situations, being exposed to stressful situations, and working in environments that require the use of protective gear and devices.
