The Business Development Manager for Commercial Security Services at Johnson Controls is a key role that involves promoting and selling security services and technology within a designated territory. This position requires strong relationships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to close new business while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating new market share, renewing customer agreements, and providing exceptional post-installation follow-up. You will leverage your knowledge of our products and services to build trust with customers and identify opportunities for growth.

About the Role:

  • Create new market share by selling Johnson Controls Security products and services to new local commercial customers.
  • Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities.
  • Renew existing customer agreements.
  • Responsible for resale opportunities within an assigned territory.

What We Look For:

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior-level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls organizations.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule.
  • Available for local travel.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annual base salary + target incentive earnings (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). This role offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package.
