Job Title: Associate Director

At Eli Lilly and Company, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external experts in the field of Gastroenterology/Immunology.

Job Summary:

The Associate Director will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and effectively communicating deep scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area of Gastroenterology/Immunology.
  • Exceling at customer engagement and support medical/scientific information needs of scientific experts.
  • Strategic vision and leadership, synthesizing complex data and expertly communicating meaningful clinical insights and unanswered customer questions to Lilly Medical and cross-functional teams.
  • Territory ownership, demonstrating strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization skills to improve efficiency.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience preferred.
  • Masters level degree in health sciences (e.g., PA, NP) also considered with clinical or industry experience in relevant therapeutic area.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fulfilling customer needs for complex information.
  • Significant experience in professional networking with mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in field-based working environment highly valued.
  • Proficiency and experience in Virtual engagement methods (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Web Meetings).
