ServiceNow Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Administrator to join our team at The Carrera Agency. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of our client's existing ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage, track, and resolve incidents and problems within the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement efficient processes for timely resolution of issues
  • Configure, customize, and administer the ServiceNow platform to meet organizational needs
  • Manage users, groups, roles, permissions, and data within the system
  • Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications
  • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across the IT ecosystem
  • Facilitate change management processes and assess the impact of changes
  • Maintain and enhance the service catalog for optimal user experience
  • Ensure ServiceNow configurations comply with security policies and industry regulations
  • Stay updated on new features, enhancements, and best practices for continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) with 3-5+ years of experience
  • Experience in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) is a plus
  • Strong technical skills in ServiceNow administration, configuration management, user management, security operations, and system integration
  • Experience with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) requirements and guidelines
  • Knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, FISMA)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of risk management methodologies and ability to assess, mitigate, and monitor risks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to articulate complex technical concepts effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and precision
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
