Compensation and Benefits Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of compensation and benefits programs for Tuckahoe Holdings and its portfolio companies.
This full-time position is based in our Richmond, VA headquarters and reports directly to Tuckahoe's CHRO.
The ideal candidate will have 15 or more years of experience managing the compensation and benefits functions for a large, multi-location organization, with a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities will include monitoring market trends, developing and designing market competitive benefits and compensation programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The Compensation and Benefits Manager will collaborate closely with business and HR leadership, Finance/Accounting, and other key stakeholders to ensure these programs are aligned with business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor local and national market trends on fixed, annual bonus, and long-term incentive compensation programs and practices.
- Develop and design market competitive benefits and compensation programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including FLSA, ERISA, ADA, and ACA.
- Collaborate with business and HR leadership to ensure compensation and benefits programs are aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Manage compensation-related vendor relationships and serve as a company-wide resource/subject matter expert on utilization of the Workday Advanced Compensation module.
Requirements:
- 15 or more years of experience managing the compensation and benefits functions for a large, multi-location organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills required.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including FLSA, ERISA, ADA, and ACA.
