Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of workers' compensation regulations along with healthcare and insurance experience.

Position Details:

Full-Time Opportunity: Monday - Friday (shifts available from 8:30am-5pm, 9am-5:30pm, or 10am-6:30pm)

Responsibilities for Workers Compensation Role Include:

  • Assessing overdue accounts and associated documentation.
  • Communicating with patients, guarantors, and third-party payers to secure payments and resolve assigned accounts.
  • Reviewing and following up on workers' compensation denials and delays.
  • Appealing incorrect denials and payments.
  • Responding promptly to carrier verification requests.
  • Tracking and documenting all account information.
  • Complying with all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional skills in organization, prioritization, and time management to facilitate account follow-up.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • At least one year of experience in medical billing/collections or insurance/workers' compensation.
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Strong oral, written, computer, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities for MRI Injection Authorization Role Include:

  • Initiating requests for MRI Injection Authorization from commercial carriers.
  • Updating and recording authorization-related information in our system.
  • Conducting clinical reviews of authorization requests.
  • Providing accurate and complete documentation to approve MRI Injection requests.
  • Collaborating with relevant staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Minimum of one year of healthcare or insurance office experience.
  • Prior authorization experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written, computer, and customer service skills.
