Behavioral Specialist Consultant

Discovery Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Specialist Consultant to join our Early Intervention team in the greater Philly area. As a key member of our community team, you will work with children with developmental and/or learning disabilities, providing behavior services and interventions in home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Transfer treatment plan implementation skills to mediators (parents, teachers, caregivers)
- Develop behavioral data collection systems and graph clinical data to monitor progress
- Consult and coordinate with mediators and other disciplines
- Support Therapeutic Support Staff in implementing ABA programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, education, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal Background Check, and FBI Clearances within the past 12 months
- Minimum one-year post-college education experience implementing ABA programs for individuals under 21 with autism spectrum disorder or related diagnoses
- Knowledge and ability to implement assessment tools and practices for children ages three to five
