Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Specialist/BCBA to join our team at SPIN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to increase adaptive and coping skills in individuals with Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement programs to increase adaptive and coping skills in individuals with Autism.
  2. Collaborate with team members to develop person-centered plans that support informed choice and lead towards the achievement of chosen outcomes.
  3. Conduct environmental and functional assessments of behavior, determine the need for intervention, and complete reports within designated time frames.
  4. Provide direct consultation in program development and interventions utilizing the best practice and methods of applied behavior analysis, positive approaches, and human learning.
  5. Conduct skills assessments, such as the VB-MAPP or AFLS, for ABA programming.
  6. Provide input and/or feedback supported by data collection for analysis on an ongoing basis to all team members on the progress of individual plans to support continuous growth and the delivery of quality service.
  7. May provide supervision to other employees seeking certification as a BCBA.
  8. Assist with initial RBT assessments for BHTs.
  9. Completes on-site fidelity checks for BHT's to ensure that the treatment plan is being implemented accurately.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • In the process of completing a certificate program or graduate courses in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and training others on ABA programs.
  • Experience working with youth with Autism.
  • Experience supervising others and delivering feedback is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed in PA as a Behavior Specialist or other qualifying license needed to bill Behavioral Consultation Services in PA with BCBA Certification.
Work Environment

Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
