About the Role

Aramark Healthcare + is seeking a highly skilled EVS and Food Safety Director to join their team at Baylor Scott and White Health System in North/Central Texas. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing safety and risk programs, processes, and procedures to protect people, property, environment, and company assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Aramark Safety & Risk Solutions team, Healthcare+ District Leadership, General Managers, District Safety Managers, and Clients to review, implement, and enforce Aramark's SAFE Commitment.
  • Assist supported locations and site-based management teams to effectively execute against safety standards and requirements.
  • Maintain working relationships with local and regional compliance and regulatory authorities, including Local/Health, CMS, The Joint Commission, etc.
  • Ensure the location has current Aramark safety standards and procedure documentation in place.
  • Verify the implementation and execution of Aramark safety standards and procedures.
  • Effectively manage internal and external corrective action processes to comply with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be willing to work event-based hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Safety & Health, Business Administration, or Public Health; HS Diploma plus equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of food safety, environmental services, and/or occupational experience.
  • Certified ServSafe trainer is preferred or ability to obtain training certification within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Previous management/training experience required.
  • Previous occupational, food, and/or culinary experience in a high-volume venue or health/regulatory department, Joint Commission, etc. preferred.
  • Ability to travel 30-50%.
