CNA Opportunity for a Homelike Environment

We are seeking a compassionate and kind Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Pathways, Inc. in one of our intermediate care facility residences for aging adults with developmental disabilities. As a CNA, you will work in a small homelike environment with 10-12 beds, where ratios are typically 1:2.
About the Role:
The ICF Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene care, range of motion, repositioning, ambulation, dining, and overall health and wellbeing. This role requires regular communication with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager, RN, and other members of the consumers Service Planning Team to ensure services are appropriate.
Nature of Work:
As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team to provide high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for meeting the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents, including assisting with medication administration, providing support with behavioral needs, and promoting overall health and wellbeing.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Completion of and graduation from Certified Nursing Assistant's Certificate program and maintain adequate licensure and training for Certified Nursing Assistant's position. A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Verbal and written communication skills are necessary in order to perform the essential functions of the position. At least one year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or related field of experience is preferred. A valid driver's license with driving record that meets insurability guidelines is required to operate Agency-owned vehicles.

Pay:
The estimated salary for this role is $18.75-$21.25 per hour, with opportunities for additional pay for overnight shifts and sign-on bonuses. For eligible positions, full-time CNAs can earn a $1,500 or $2,000 sign-on bonus, while part-time CNAs can earn a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
