Position Overview: Under the guidance of the Communications Supervisor, the Communications Operations Coordinator is tasked with ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the Communications department, which encompasses the mailroom operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Supervisor and Director in managing departmental operations in alignment with the FTE budget, operational budget, and organizational policies.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of two years in Communications, Dispatch, or Switchboard roles is required. Experience with Attendant Console systems is preferred.

Essential Skills: Candidates must possess exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, alongside strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also necessary.

Work Environment: This role requires availability to work in a 24/7/365 hospital on-call setting.

Educational Qualifications: A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
