Job Overview

Vert Digital is seeking an Ecommerce Advertising Specialist to enhance our Digital Media division. This position will play a crucial role in the continuous strategy, execution, and refinement of e-commerce initiatives at Vert, which is rapidly expanding in this service area.

As a dynamic agency, we are dedicated to supporting diverse client objectives through exceptional digital strategies, with e-commerce becoming increasingly vital. In this role, you will work closely with Vert's Creative Strategy, Interactive, Media, and Analytics teams to integrate all facets of e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning, implementation, ongoing enhancement, and reporting for e-commerce digital media initiatives across leading channels (paid search, programmatic, paid social, CTV, etc.)
  • Collaborating with Vert's Creative Strategy, Analytics, and Interactive teams to synchronize messaging, creative elements, targeting, and destinations for campaigns aimed at boosting e-commerce sales
  • Maintaining and advancing a robust understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon (Seller / Vendor Central), Shopify, BigCommerce, Google Merchant Center, etc.
  • Providing expertise on e-commerce trends, research, and best practices relevant to digital marketing strategies and channels
  • Working with client teams to enhance product databases and catalogs across key e-commerce platforms and technologies
  • Partnering with our Account Strategy team to ensure best practices, insights, and recommendations are effectively communicated to support client business goals
  • Engaging with media vendors, requesting proposals through RFPs, issuing IOs, managing e-commerce media purchases, and reconciling expenditures
  • Evaluating results and activities from e-commerce campaigns by utilizing platform reporting, Google Data Studio dashboards, custom reports, Excel, etc., and translating KPIs into actionable business insights
  • Staying informed on emerging digital trends and technologies through blogs, events, conferences, online learning, etc.
  • Collaborating with Vert's Analytics team to develop attribution plans for Google Ecommerce reporting in Google Analytics, Amazon Analytics Beta, or other tracking tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with strategic and tactical methods to leverage CRM and SEO for incremental e-commerce sales or performance
  • Certifications in Amazon Advertising, Shopify Partners, or Magento Partner are advantageous
  • Hands-on experience with catalog/feed management
  • Experience with tools such as Jungle Scout, A/B testing, etc.
  • A background in team leadership, demonstrating the ability to guide individuals and/or teams toward success

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $60,000-80,000. This is a full-time, hybrid role.
