Job Summary
The Financial Operations Manager is responsible for managing the annual forecasting and budgeting process, monthly financial variance reporting, and other ad-hoc reporting. This role is responsible for the accurate reporting of expenses and operating/net income by entity and line of business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships with direct reports, offshore reports, sourcing team, supply chain leadership, and finance operations teams.
* Communicate effectively with team members and leaders, being direct, concise, and timely in requests and updates.
* Manage SCA processes, including realized savings, rebates, compliance dashboards, inflation factors, functional budget reviews, supply chain finance support, supply expense variance analytics, and executive commentary on key supply trends and macro economics.
* Prepare and administer budgets and forecasts to maintain financial viability, including profit and loss models and what-if studies.
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure accuracy of data and prepare monthly financial reports and variance investigations.
* Provide reports to operations teams to assist in adherence to budget and identify gaps, proposing solutions to remedy.
* Collect necessary statistical information to facilitate monthly journal entries and oversee month-end analytics.
* Support accounting teams with regulatory audits and ensure all monthly journal entries are reported correctly.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with a Master's degree or equivalent preferred.
* Supply chain valuation proficiency with MS Office applications, SQL, Power Query, and Power BI.
* Proficient technical and analytical skills, including supply rate/mix/volume variance analytics, sensitivity/what-if modeling, and data tool development.
* Proven leadership, management, data, and communication abilities, with a focus on timely, accurate, effective, and cost-efficient service delivery and compliance with established policies and procedures.
