Position Overview: BSA Compliance Analyst
The BSA Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying and mitigating BSA-related risks while executing various responsibilities as directed by management.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate BSA/AML alerts
- Investigate potential suspicious activities
- Prepare and submit CTR/SAR reports
- Conduct thorough Enhanced Due Diligence assessments
- Monitor transactions and account activities
- Analyze transactions deemed high-risk
- Ensure compliance with regulatory timelines
- Provide training and support on Fraud and BSA matters
- Assist during regulatory examinations
- Maintain BSA compliance standards
- Adhere to confidentiality policies related to BSA
- Encourage a culture of teamwork and accountability
- Perform additional tasks as required
- Familiarity with BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations
- Ability to interpret and apply banking regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Capability to identify operational deficiencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented and self-driven
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Certifications such as CAMS are advantageous
