Job Summary

This role is responsible for identifying and preventing BSA risk, as well as other functions as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review BSA/AML alerts and conduct suspicious activity investigations.
  • Prepare and file CTR/SAR reports as needed.
  • Analyze and research high-risk transactions to identify potential cases of fraud and money laundering.
  • Ensure timely completion of customer monitoring functions and regulatory report submissions.
  • Provide guidance and support to business and operations teams on BSA/Compliance and Fraud regulations.
  • Assist management in regulatory exams and uphold BSA-related standards.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Federal and State Banking Regulations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of similar or related experience and/or training.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Accounting, or other related field.
  • Professional certification such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) preferred.
