Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Kootenai Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians to assess patient needs and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Order, interpret, and record results of clinical tests and reports to physicians
  • Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic treatments
  • Work independently with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Typically reports to a physician
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
  • MSN degree or higher from an accredited nurse practitioner program required
  • Nationally recognized as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Clinical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Holds a current NP and RN license to practice in the state of Idaho required
  • BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
  • Typical equipment used in a clinical job
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs
