The Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in the Life Care Post Falls Team. This position is responsible for carrying out patient-related restorative nursing functions, as pre-determined and assigned by the Restorative Nurse, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Responsibilities:
* Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
* Provide exercise programs to patients as ordered by physicians.
* Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
* Respond promptly to patient call lights and needs.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Current registration/licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the applicable state.
* Completed restorative nursing training.
* One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.
* CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation.
