Key Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four general categories: pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence, post-anesthetic care, and peri-anesthetic and clinical support functions.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, physicians, and medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a Master's degree from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
- Current licensure from the Maryland State Board of Nurse Examiners to practice nursing and nurse anesthesia.
- Current certification or recertification from the National Board on Certification & Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
