Job Title: Leading Teacher Disability Inclusion Leader F-10

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Teacher Disability Inclusion Leader F-10 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Lead and manage the provision of professional development and developing individual and team development plans for teaching staff within the priorities of the school.
  • Lead and manage staff performance and development (review of staff).
  • Teach demonstration lessons.
  • Lead and manage the development of the school's assessment and reporting policies and practices.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of the school operations and policies related to student welfare and discipline.
  • Lead the development of curriculum in a major learning area and participating in curriculum development in other areas.
  • Responsibility for general discipline matters beyond the management of classroom teachers.
  • Contributing to the overall leadership and management of the school.
  • Contributing to the development of proposals for school council consideration.
  • Developing and managing the school code of conduct.

Requirements:

  • Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of teachers and staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work at any campus of the school and may be required to attend camps and excursions.
