Position Responsibilities:

Compensation: $21.15 per hour
Additional Pay: $0.20 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM; $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 4:59 AM.

  • Conduct regular quality control assessments and monitor production processes.
  • Collaborate with line supervisors and production staff on quality and operational procedures.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including conducting internal audits with management participation.
  • Perform sanitation inspections in assigned areas prior to operations.
  • Ensure current operational instructions and quality control protocols are updated with new information and feedback from the production floor.
  • Monitor compliance with USDA regulations beyond routine practices.
  • Exercise authority to hold non-conforming products and make decisions regarding product disposition.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Complete other assigned tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Clear communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Legible handwriting is essential.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
  • Favorable employment and attendance records are required.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to rotate among different departments with varying quality control responsibilities.
  • Ability to consistently arrive on time and perform job duties effectively.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours) on concrete or metal grate flooring.
  • Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments, ranging from 40 degrees to 100 degrees.
