Job Summary

Unified Strategic Resources is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter (BLS/Hazmat Technician) to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing critical support in emergency situations, including fire suppression, rescue operations, and hazardous materials response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations: Respond to emergency calls and provide fire suppression and rescue services to protect people and property.
  • Hazardous Materials Response: Identify and respond to hazardous materials incidents, taking necessary precautions to ensure public safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Operation: Maintain and operate firefighting vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Training and Certification: Participate in regular training and certification programs to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other emergency responders and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination during emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in firefighting or a related field, with a strong background in BLS and hazmat response.
  • Certifications: Possess current certifications in Firefighter I and II, HazMat Operations, and other relevant certifications.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to hazardous materials and emergency situations.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: Work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
