The Field Sales Technician will act as a key liaison between the company and its clients, offering both technical guidance and sales support. *Field Sales Technician Responsibilities:* * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand their technical needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions. * Offer on-site technical support and product demonstrations to clients. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Mersen’s products and solutions. * Identify new business opportunities and generate leads. Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and technical documentation. * Maintain deep knowledge of Mersen’s product portfolio and industry trends. Stay updated on new technologies and solutions to provide expert advice to customers. * Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring that they meet customer specifications and performance standards. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support. * Track sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends. Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager or Regional Sales Director, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. * Conduct training sessions for customers on Mersen’s products and solutions. Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance product offerings. *Field Sales Technician Qualifications:* * *Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. * *Experience:* 3+ years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the electrical or industrial sectors. Experience with field sales and technical support is highly desirable. * *Travel:* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region to meet with clients and attend industry events.
