Job DescriptionAt Terraphase Engineering Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate/Principal Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our environmental consulting group, you will be responsible for providing strategic and technical support on client projects, effectively supporting business development efforts, and leading project teams. Your expertise in applied human health and/or ecological risk assessment will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality services to our clients. The Role
  • Provide leadership and technical support in applying risk assessment sciences to solve complex environmental problems affecting clients
  • Manage the performance of technical work and the preparation of project deliverables
  • Support the expansion of work with existing Terraphase clients and the development of relationships with new clients
  • Identify, develop, and secure new opportunities to provide solutions for clients
  • Support the learning of, transfer of knowledge to, and professional development of, junior staff

Requirements
  • Candidates should hold an advanced degree in toxicology, environmental or chemical engineering, environmental health, environmental science, biology, chemistry, or similar field
  • 12+ years of experience in applied human health and/or ecological risk assessment
  • Strong commitment to client service and professional development
  • Strong reputation among clients and peers for creativity, integrity, responsiveness, and technical expertise
  • Strong technical skills in environmental fate and transport, statistics and spatial analysis
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Experience leading project teams and supervising the work of others
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as a member of a team
