Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Quality Control Supervisor is tasked with ensuring that products align with the operational and aesthetic standards established by the organization and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Conduct inspections and maintain records according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Document inspection findings and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Provide daily guidance and support to the quality assurance team.
  • Continuously update and communicate schedules and priorities to the team and logistics.
  • Collaborate with various departments to meet scheduled objectives.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support operational needs.
  • Facilitate effective training programs for team members.
  • Manage and prioritize the workload for team members.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient time management skills.
  • Robust problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow instructions effectively.
  • Willingness to work 8+ hours daily and on weekends as necessary in a manufacturing environment.
  • Physical ability to navigate all areas of the facility as required, including sitting, standing, walking, squatting, and reaching.
  • Basic understanding of paint and surface quality.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items weighing between 20 to 50 pounds in various settings.
  • Capability to work outdoors when necessary.
  • Operating a tractor is advantageous.
  • Occasional tasks may include reworks, paint touch-ups, washing, and other related duties.
  • Awareness of surroundings is essential.
