About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Remittance Processing Associate II to join our team at FIS. As a key member of our Remittance Processing team, you will play a critical role in processing customer payments and exceptions in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer payments and exceptions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate set-up and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment
  • Perform research and adjustment activities
  • Process exception items
  • Maintain inventory of remittance processing supplies
  • Prepare outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments
  • Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds
  • Considerable knowledge of remittance processing
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, and problem-solving techniques required to verify and distribute computer output
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, and problem-solving techniques required to process client transactions and produce output through computer operations
  • Knowledge of practices, procedures, and problem-solving techniques involved in item processing
  • Knowledge of client specifications for remittance processing
  • Knowledge of off-line and peripheral equipment operation and maintenance
  • Proficiency to assemble, organize, and sequence work
  • Knowledge to identify errors in calculations and balances
Work Schedule

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm or 5:00 pm until 1:30 am.
