Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Coordinator to join our team at AccentCare, Inc.

This is a full-time opportunity in Brooklyn, NY. The estimated salary for this position is $23.00 per hour, based on the requirements of the role and the current market conditions in the location.

About the Role:

The Financial Coordinator will be responsible for the Electronic Visit Verification process, reviewing Conflict of Hours reports, investigating incidents with other vendors, and conducting timely and accurate claims processing, account reconciliation, and related reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate claims processing, account reconciliation, and related reporting functions.
  • Weekly processing of billing performed in a timely manner.
  • Verification of accuracy of billing rates and interface with referral sources, payers, and clients regarding billing questions/issues.
  • Preparation and auditing of all entries in the payroll/billing files before transactions are posted for billing.
  • Reconciliation of payroll reports against time sheets and verification reports.
  • Training, advising, and counseling Care Partners on the Agency's telephony.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience, experience in finance preferred.
  • Strong telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills in the use of computers.

Work Environment:

This is a Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM shift in Brooklyn, NY.
