Job Description

Millennium Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Program Management Officer to support a program in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Information and Analysis: Provide critical program information, analysis, and recommendations to leadership for program action and decisions.
  • Calendar Management: Execute the tracking of activities and assume responsibility for calendar management of senior officials.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate recurring staff meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Document Management: Prepare, review, staff, transmit, and electronically store on government-owned systems, agenda, briefings, papers, tasks, minutes, calendars, action items, and other program-related documents.
  • Presentation Materials: Prepare required presentation materials for on-site and off-site events, showcasing the program's progress and achievements.
  • Program Planning and Coordination: Conduct detailed planning, coordination, and synchronization of program management activities, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary interface between the PM, PEO leaders and staff, ASA (ALT) leaders and staff, and other stakeholder organizations, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Calendar Management and Scheduling: Manage the assigned program calendars, coordinate, and schedule meetings, take meeting minutes, transcribe and distribute meeting notes and action items to meeting attendees, provide the status of action items, reports, and other assigned tasks, and electronically store the material from these engagements on the PEO GCS Portal.
  • Collaborative Technologies: Utilize new collaborative technologies to facilitate work in a virtual environment and to assist the customer's understanding of new business practices, enabling them to collaborate in a complete telework environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Logistics, Quality, Production, or other related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience coordinating and collaborating the management of complex DoD engineering or technical programs, and coordinating military acquisition programs (preferably ground combat vehicle systems experience).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Preference for those that have worked as a project coordinator or action officer for the Army or within a DoD environment.
  • Technical Skills: Five (5) years' experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance.
