Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop engineering designs for urban and rural highway/roadway projects
  • Oversee the work of CAD designers and other engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs for roadway and highway projects, including site feasibility analysis and final design
  • Participate in activities ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase
  • Assume project management duties and interact with clients as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Hands-on experience with CAD engineering software, including Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NHDOT Final Design Process
  • Roadway Geometrics and Complete Streets
  • Traffic and/or Drainage Experience, including specific design software
