At Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe, we're seeking a highly skilled Product Coordinator CDL to join our team. As a Product Coordinator CDL, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of products from our facilities to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the movement of products from the palletizer to storage locations or tractor-trailers.
- Ensure accurate and orderly transportation of products.
- Maintain a sufficient supply of pallets for the palletizing machines.
- Remove broken or dirty baskets and pallets from circulation.
- Inspect products for defects and remove them from pallets.
- Verify product clips for accuracy and attach or mark identifying tags or labels.
- Load product orders, attach strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.
- Unload returned products from tractor-trailers and transport them to the stale area.
- Operate and fill the stale machine, monitoring and maintaining the basket lines with empty baskets.
- Maintain the cleanliness of trailers, the stale room, and warehouse.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years' CDL driving experience, with related jockeying experience preferred.
- Class A license required.
- Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical requirements.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate an electric jack.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The temperature in the dock area is directly affected by outside temperatures, and the noise level is usually moderate.
