Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team as a Logistics Specialist II. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers within a 200-mile radius of our branch. Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include:
  • Safely operating a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations.
  • Delivering building materials to customers within a 200-mile radius of our branch.
  • Performing pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Validating and confirming inventory loaded on the truck and ensuring accurate delivery tickets.
  • Conducting job site inspections and documenting any existing damage to lawns, landscaping, or driveways.
  • Capturing pictures of all building products delivered in accordance with company policy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Ability to load and unload building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. each off of a straight bed truck on a continuous basis.
  • A safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years.
  • Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations for Logistic Specialists.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (21 years of age for interstate driving or transporting hazardous materials).
  • Must pass a required drug test and possess a current DOT medical certificate.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify Check.
