Position Overview:

The Capital Markets Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering expert knowledge in areas such as Derivative Trading, Securities Trading, Loan Trading, and Agency Services. Key responsibilities include managing essential operational functions such as Client Onboarding, Trade Processing, Securities Settlement, Confirmations, Client Assistance, and Margin/Collateral management. This role demands the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively while collaborating with both external clients and internal teams, including Technology, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Sales, and Trading.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute transactions in accordance with job specifications
  • Engage with clients and colleagues to address and resolve issues
  • Contribute to initiatives and projects within the operational scope
  • Ensure adherence to operational protocols and controls
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Capital Markets products and associated technologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with brokerage systems and operational processes
  • Comprehensive understanding of the financial sector and regulatory landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • Minimum of eight years of experience in capital markets operations
  • Capability to analyze and convey data effectively
  • Research and analytical proficiency
  • Possession of FINRA Series 99 or 7 certification
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA, JD)
  • Expertise in Excel, including macro functionalities
