We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Fairfax Behavioral Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Current licensure as an LPN in the state of practice.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
