Position Overview

  • Generator Parts Specialist:
    Responsible for researching, accurately quoting, purchasing, and organizing generator replacement components for both our internal service team and external clientele.
  • Proactively market residential generators by fostering and nurturing relationships with contractors and end-users.
  • Assist customers in-person and over the phone by cross-selling, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering comprehensive customer service related to parts, rentals, and residential generators.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within the Parts department.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all shipping and receiving tasks, including ordering, tracking, and resolving issues.
  • Oversee annual inventory management for the designated warehouse location, including inventory held in technician vehicles.
  • Ensure accurate, efficient, and timely quoting and invoicing of parts and residential generators.
  • Establish and sustain proactive and meaningful relationships with vendors.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume parts department or relevant technical experience with generators.
  • Familiarity with material/enterprise resource planning (MRP/ERP) software is advantageous.
  • Experience with shipping courier software (e.g., UPS, FedEx) is preferred.
