About Our Client:
Our client is a renowned global provider of engineering and construction management services, specializing in a variety of sectors including communications, environmental testing, energy efficiency, and air quality management. With over 50 years of experience, they deliver comprehensive engineering solutions across power, oil and gas, environmental, and infrastructure markets.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Gas Technical Operations Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing field controls and measurements, ensuring the traceability of interfaces.
2. Leading as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for critical field assets, and potentially serving as a project leader for specialized system assignments related to Gas Control Room management.
3. Designing and installing technical components to enhance safety and reliability while minimizing risks.
4. Collaborating with both internal and external technical SMEs on complex projects, focusing on safety, customer satisfaction, technology, reliability, design standards, costs, and schedules.
5. Coordinating with stakeholders to restore essential Gas system infrastructure.
6. Developing documentation for critical Gas field components and maintenance packages.
7. Creating wire frame schematic designs for SCADA Human Machine Interface (HMI) and addressing field documentation inquiries.
8. Conducting analysis and repairs on field electro-mechanical equipment as required.
9. Specifying and procuring materials and equipment to meet Gas System Operations objectives.
10. Installing, analyzing, and programming field PLCs, ensuring the integrity of remote control and SCADA systems.
11. Implementing safety measures, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
12. Supporting the company's mission, strategy, and values through adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Practical knowledge and experience in maintaining and troubleshooting critical Gas Control field assets.
3. Understanding of utility constructability, Gas distribution system design, and safety standards.
4. Project and schedule management skills, including proficiency in computerized work and materials management tools.
5. Strong analytical skills to interpret information and propose solutions to complex problems.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
7. Familiarity with energy physics processes and knowledge of regulatory criteria and industry standards.
8. Ability to read and analyze industrial drawings and GIS mapping systems.

Travel Requirements:
This position requires candidates to be onsite for 75% of the time, with the possibility of 25% remote work. Extended hours may be necessary to support project needs.
